Recycled fashion. Fish. Lawnmowers. Tattooing. Floristry. Food. Coffee. Fine dining. Death metal. Lawyers. Art. Design. Forty-four businesses on one block of upper Cuba Street, and only one of them was a franchise. It was the Salvation Army.

Wellington photographer Joseph Kelly spent 2018 and 2019 photographing every one of them for a project called One Square Block.
