The Future is here.

Our poster frames are a staple of the urban landscape.

But as demand continues to grow for custom-coloured and creative frames, so does the environmental cost.

Traditional repainting is an endless cycle of transport, labour, water use, and paint disposal, adding up to emissions and waste we can’t ignore.

Even with our electric vans and green-waste paint solutions, we knew there had to be a better way.

Finding the Right Fit

Corflute was off the table. Yes, it’s cheap and widely used, but it’s also wasteful and a nightmare to recycle.

Powder-coated steel? Too expensive. ACM? Printable and weatherproof, but its acrylic core made full recycling impossible.

Then we found it, a recycled textile board.

Lightweight, durable, and capable of full-colour printing, it checked all the boxes.

Most importantly, it was fully recyclable. That was the moment Future Frames were born.

Instead of repainting and replacing frames, we developed a cover system that slips over existing frames, eliminating waste and unnecessary work.

Less Waste, More Impact

Future Framing simplifies everything. Sites turned over faster, without the need to haul frames back and forth.

The visual impact remained strong, but resource use plummets, allowing our creative and operations team to focus on other epic stuff.

Now, we reuse common colours and brand sets, and when frames get damaged, they’re returned to the manufacturer, shredded, and remade into new boards. What used to be a labour-heavy, high-waste process is now lean, low-impact, and fully circular.

A Shift for the Industry

Sustainability in out-of-home advertising doesn’t have to mean compromise.

Future Frames prove that smart solutions can be cost-effective, efficient, and scalable.

Recycled textile boards are becoming more accessible to commercial printers, offering a practical alternative to corflute.

More importantly, by showing that it works at scale, we’re encouraging our print partners to push for better materials industry-wide.

The message is clear: if we can do it, the rest of the industry can too.

It’s time to leave corflute behind and move towards a more sustainable future for OOH.

You might have read through this thinking, what does this epic Mufasa campaign have to do with Future Frames? Well, all of the framing here we used as part of our research and development.

If you didn’t notice any different, the concept proves itself.
